Celebrating 30 Years of Excellence (1994-2024)

The Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (IQSK) proudly presents the Professional Excellence Awards 2024, an event dedicated to honoring and celebrating the exceptional achievements and contributions to the quantity surveying profession. This year’s awards are particularly special as we commemorate 30 years of excellence, marking our institute’s journey since its establishment in 1994.

The awards will take place on Friday, 6th December 2024, at the prestigious Emara Olesereni Hotel, Nairobi, bringing together leading professionals, stakeholders, and innovators in the construction industry to celebrate the individuals and organizations that have shaped and transformed the quantity surveying profession over the last three decades.

As IQSK reaches this significant milestone, we reflect on three decades of growth, professionalism, and excellence. Since our inception in 1994, IQSK has been at the forefront of promoting best practices, innovation, and leadership in quantity surveying. This year’s Professional Excellence Awards will celebrate not only the profession’s past achievements but also the individuals and organizations shaping its future.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUTSTANDING QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS) AWARDS
For Various Membership Categories at the Professional Excellence Awards, 6th December 2024

NB: IQSK Council and Committee members are not eligible for nomination.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS (Applicable to all categories)

  1. Must be in good standing with IQSK.
  2. Must be in good standing with BORAQS (for Fellows and Professional Members).
  3. Must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
  4. Must be nominated by an IQSK full member in good standing.
  5. Must not have won in the same category in previous awards.
  6. Adheres to ethical standards and promotes a positive Quantity Surveying professional image.
